Welcome

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Church of God in Jesus Christ.   Our hope is that our website content stimulates your interest for further discovery of our work that's invested in our faith, fellowship and service offerings.   We seek to satisfy the appetite of the soul's quest for the eternal Kingdom of God and Christ.

Our Commitment

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church.   Bound by an unrelenting submission to the Lord Jesus Christ, we are guided by His word and governed by His Spirit.

Without compromise, we preach, teach and defend the truth in love towards the fulfillment of His Great Commission.   To Him Who is worthy of all praise, honor and glory we offer thanksgiving as we walk in union with "The Prince of Peace."

(Isaiah 9: 6)

Services

We assemble for Worship services on Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM.   However, please see our calendar whereby we maintain our exact schedule related to services and other activities.

SUNDAY SERMON BRIEF

February 1, 2026

The subject matter of today's message was centered around our Lord of Glory, Jesus Christ.  His character and conduct, as we have learned in the Scripture, is truly what humankind must adopt; and thus imitate.  And because of His "...everlasting love"  He extends the invitation:  "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.(Matthew 11: 28-30).  In other words, He is the gentle and humble Lamb of God who came to this world to die for the sins of the WORLD.

Armed with the above words of life, the Holy Ghost lead the Body of Christ to a narrative contained in the Book of Numbers, verses 1-40.  Armed with a humble heart and the love of God, we learned that in absence of either, humility is missing in action. The perils of pride will rule and the dreadful consequences are inevitable.  Furthermore, salvation rest would not be realized.  More Specificly, Korah and his band of 250 followers perished due to the divine judgment of Almighty God for their reckless and ruthless pride.     â€‹
